A phone book company has filed suit against a Mount Vernon law firm and an attorney who it claims failed to pay more than $100,000 for an ad placed in the book.
Yellowbook claims it ran an ad in its phone book for defendants Graham Benson and Associates and Jerry D. Graham.
However, the defendants failed to live up to their end of the agreement and did not pay the $112,068.04 due, according to the complaint filed Sept. 19 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
In addition to the money it claims it is owed, Yellowbook is seeking the costs of the lawsuit.
It will be represented by David S. Miller of Baker and Miller in Chicago.
