Illinois Chamber to endorse non-retention campaign of ‘Citizens for Judicial Integrity’

The Illinois Chamber of Commerce has announced that it will be supporting the efforts of Citizens for Judicial Integrity, a group that is campaigning against the retention of four Madison County circuit judges.

Illinois Chamber President Doug Whitley will make an announcement about its endorsement of the non-retention group at a press conference Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the cafeteria of the Madison County administrative building.

Citizens for Judicial Integrity is led by Highland resident Phil Chapman.

Circuit Judges Ann Callis, Barbara Crowder, John Knight and Dave Hylla are being interviewed regarding the challenge to their retention.
