A St. Louis City judge ruled in favor of a bank, ordering that an Edwardsville man repay it more than $800,000 for missed payments and accrued interest.
Centrue Bank was awarded a judgment against defendants Altman Building and Kevin McGowan for $856,737.46. The judgment included principal of $695,726.58, interest of $115,055.34, late charges of $35,037.56 and attorney’s fees of $10,917.95.
The judgment was awarded on Feb. 10, 2011, in St. Louis City Circuit Court. Later, an affidavit of foreign judgment was filed in Madison County Circuit Court on Aug. 30.
