A St. Clair County man is asking for $50,000 from a driver he says made an improper turn and caused a crash.
Michael Werle filed a lawsuit Jan. 26 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Robert Cardona.
Werle says he was driving west on Belleville’s West Main Street in October 2010. Cardona allegedly made an illegal left turn from the right lane and crashed into Werle’s vehicle.
Werle accuses Cardona of negligence and asks for at least $50,000 in damages for medical expenses, lost wages and court costs.
Werle is represented by attorney Bruce R. Cook of Belleville.
