A Belleville man is suing a Granite City man for allegedly failing to stop at an intersection and crashing into him.
Christopher L. Mitchell filed a lawsuit against Shane A. Faith Jan. 21 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
In the petition, Mitchell says he was driving on Lebanon Avenue in Shiloh in February 2009. As he approached the intersection of Indian Ridge Road, Mitchell says Faith didn’t stop at the intersection and crashed into him.
Mitchell claims Faith was negligent and seeks more than $50,000 in damages, lost wages and court fees.
Attorneys Ronald J. Foster Jr. of East St. Louis and Ronald Robinson of St. Louis are representing Mitchell. They ask for a jury trial.
